Operational HSE Advisor (MVK) (CP10.501-2009-36)

The Operational HSE Advisor will work in the HSE Department, reporting directly to the HSE Manager and providing operations HSE guidance and support. Preferred employment is 4-5 days per week, in the north of the Netherlands.

The Operational HSE Advisor has the following tasks and reponsibilities:

  • Advising Management and Operations on daily operational HSE matters.
  • Attending HSE (worksite) meetings and providing the minutes of meeting.
  • Conducting HSE Site Visits and Inspections.
  • Conducting TRA/JSA and other risk assessments.
  • Organising Emergency Exercises.
  • Follow-up on HSE actions coming from HSE Site Visits, Incident Investigations, Near-Miss and Hazard Reports and HSE Worksite Meetings.
  • Processing Incident Reports, Near-Miss and Hazard Reports and HSE Site Visits.
  • Conducting incident investigations.
  • Running HSE Induction programmes for new staff and contractors.
  • Monthly reporting of HSE data to management and Corporate.
  • Liaising with contractor HSE counterparts on daily HSE issues.

Requirement:

  • Professional level MBO / MBO+.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in an industrial environment, at least 2 of which in the HSE discipline.
  • Safety Management Degree Level II (MVK) preferred.
  • Easy communicator on both operational and management level.
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch.
  • Inhabited in the provinces of Friesland or Noord-Holland.

Remuneration package:
